Summer Edition - Where Little Leaders Are Born
The NUR Shanakht Early Years Program is a two-week immersive summer experience for children aged 5–12 - built around real skills, Islamic values, and the belief that every child already has a leader inside them.
- • Build each child's confidence to speak, create, and lead in front of others.
- • Develop a strong sense of identity rooted in Islamic values and Pakistani culture.
- • Introduce real-world life skills — from cooking to coding to running a business.
- • Foster empathy and social responsibility through community service.
- • Create a safe, joyful space where every child feels seen, celebrated, and challenged.
- • Stand up and speak — deliver a Urdu poem, pitch a product, or share a story in front of an audience.
- • Create something beautiful — take home an original painted canvas they made with their own hands.
- • Understand technology — explain what AI is and give basic instructions to a computer.
- • Serve their community — visit a school, teach something, and return with gratitude
Week 1 is all about self-discovery, creativity, art, STEM, storytelling, emotions — essentially a child figuring out who they are and what they can do.
- • To help every child discover who they are — their creativity, curiosity, and confidence — in a space where there are no wrong answers.
- • By the end of the week, your child will have performed in front of an audience, built something with their hands, and learned one new thing about how they think and feel.
Week 2 is cooking, entrepreneurship, community visits, mini market, graduation — going out into the world and actually doing something with it.
- • To take everything your child discovered about themselves and put it to work — in a kitchen, a marketplace, and a community that needs them.
- • By the end of the week, your child will have cooked a real dish, pitched a real business, served a real community, and graduated on a real stage.
